To setup Amped Wireless-N 600mW Range Extender it, you must first search for an optimal setup location for placing it so that it is able to receive a strong strength signal from your wireless home network router to be extended.It should be placed in between your wireless home network router and the dead zone of your place. • If setup.ampedwireless.com fails to open the web menu of the Amped Wireless-N 600mW Range Extender, try to login to the extender via default amped extender login IP address http://192.168.1.240 by entering into your browser’s address bar.
• The Dashboard of the Amped Wireless-N 600mW Range Extender gets opened and displays the current status of your Range Extender.

Configuration of Wi-Fi network settings for amped wireless n 600mw setup :

• Following login to the dashboard via setup.ampedwireless.com, Click on SCAN to connect to available network to be extended using Amped Wireless-N 600mW Range Extender.
• Highlight and select the router’s Wi-Fi network from the displayed list of Wi-Fi network names which you have to extend using the Amped Wireless-N 600mW Range Extender.

Note: If your home network router is a dual band router, select BOTH of its 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz network names for extending the network.

• Click on Next to continue setup of the Amped Wireless-N 600mW Range Extender.
• Connect to the networks with a signal strength of 70% or greater. If not, you must Move your Amped Wireless-N 600mW Range Extender closer to the router for the Wi-Fi network that you are trying to extend.

• The Amped Wireless-N 600mW Range Extender’s new extended Wi-Fi network settings will be displayed with “_RE” at the end of its name. Assign a new wireless network name and password for your extended network for security of the Wi-Fi.
• The amped wireless setup wizard guides you through the Amped Wireless-N 600mW Range Extender’s setup by online instructions.
• The Amped Wireless-N 600mW Range Extender will reboot to check for the connection and disconnect the Wi-Fi connection.
• You will have to Reconnect your previously connected devices to the Amped Wireless-N 600mW Range Extender’s new Extended Wi-Fi Network through new wireless network name and password.
• Click on Next button to complete the Amped Wireless-N 600mW Range Extender’s setup process.
